Which parts does this policy cover?
There are two situations. When you only browse this website, we collect very little: technical data that every website receives, and a small preference stored in your own browser. When you register and play at Cazeus, the platform processes the personal data needed to run your account, as described in the full Privacy Notice. This page explains both in plain language.
What data is collected when you browse this site?
Technical data
When your browser loads a page, our hosting provider receives standard technical information: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and the referring page. This is used to deliver the page, keep the service secure, block abuse and fix errors. These logs are kept for a short period and are not used to build a profile of you.
Local storage
If you close the small offer bar at the bottom of the screen, your browser remembers that choice so the bar does not come back. The site also uses session storage for a moment when you jump from a menu item to a section of the home page. Both stay on your own device and are not sent to us. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
No advertising trackers on this site
This website does not set advertising cookies and does not use third-party tracking pixels. We do not sell browsing data.
What data is processed when you play at Cazeus?
When you create an account, the platform processes the information needed to provide the service and meet legal duties. This typically includes:
- Identity and contact data: name, date of birth, address, e-mail, phone number.
- Account data: username, password (stored in protected form), language, currency and settings, including any limits you set.
- Verification data: copies of ID and proof of address, and where required information about the source of funds.
- Payment data: transaction history, payment method details handled through payment providers, and crypto wallet addresses used for payouts.
- Gaming and betting data: games played, bets placed, wins, losses, bonuses, coins, Challenges and VIP level.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information and login history, used for security and fraud prevention.
- Communication data: chat transcripts and messages you send to support.
Why is your data used?
- To open and run your account and provide games, betting and rewards.
- To verify your age and identity and to prevent underage gambling.
- To process deposits and withdrawals.
- To detect and prevent fraud, money laundering and abuse of promotions.
- To apply responsible gambling tools and spot signs of harmful play.
- To answer your questions and handle complaints.
- To send promotional messages, only if you opted in, and to stop them when you opt out or set an exclusion.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
Each of these uses rests on a legal basis: performing the contract with you, complying with the law, our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe, or your consent for marketing.
Who can your data be shared with?
Personal data is only shared where needed, for example with:
- Payment providers and banks that process your transactions.
- Identity verification and fraud prevention services.
- Game studios and sports data providers, limited to what is needed to run games and settle bets.
- Hosting, customer support and communication tools that work on our instructions.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Service providers may only use the data for the task they perform for us. Where data leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards are used.
How long is data kept?
Account and transaction data is kept for as long as your account is open and afterwards for the period required by anti-money-laundering and other laws, often several years. Self-exclusion records may be kept longer so the exclusion can be enforced. Technical logs from this website are kept only for a short period. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them.
How is your data protected?
All connections to the site use encryption. Access to personal data is limited to staff and services that need it. Passwords are stored in protected form, and payment card details are processed by payment providers rather than kept in plain form. No system is perfectly secure, so please help by using a strong, unique password and never sharing it.
Which rights do you have?
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data held about you and receive a copy.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Ask for deletion, where the law does not require us to keep it.
- Restrict or object to certain uses, including direct marketing at any time.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Complain to a data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office.
To use these rights, contact our support team through live chat, as explained on our contact page. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request, to protect your account.
What about children's data?
Cazeus is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has registered, the account is closed and the data is handled as the law requires.
Will this policy change?
We update this policy when our services or the law change. The latest version is always on this page, and important changes to the full Privacy Notice are shown inside the player account. Please check back from time to time.
Where can you learn more?
Our terms and conditions page summarises the main rules for playing, and our responsible gambling page explains limits and exclusion tools, which also involve personal data.
