Cazeus privacy policy for UAE readers

Personal data should be handled with care. This policy sets out what information is gathered when you visit this website and when you play at Cazeus, why it is needed, who receives it, how long it is stored and what rights you hold. For your player account, the full Privacy Notice you accept at registration applies.

What does this policy apply to?

We need to separate two situations. Simply browsing this website involves very little data: the technical details every website receives, plus one small preference saved in your own browser. Registering and playing at Cazeus is different, because the platform then processes the personal data required to run your account, as set out in the full Privacy Notice. Both cases are explained below in everyday language.

Which data is gathered while you browse this website?

Technical data

Each time your browser requests a page, our hosting provider receives standard technical details such as the page you asked for, the date and time, your IP address, the type of browser and the page that referred you. We use this to serve the page, protect the service, stop abuse and fix faults. The logs are deleted after a short period and are never used to profile you.

Local storage

Dismiss the small offer bar at the foot of the screen and your browser will remember it, so the bar stays hidden. Session storage is also used for a moment when a menu link takes you to a section of the home page. Both remain on your own device and are never transmitted to us, and you can wipe them whenever you like through your browser settings.

Does this site use advertising trackers?

We do not place advertising cookies on this website, and there are no third-party tracking pixels. Browsing data is never sold.

Which data is processed once you play at Cazeus?

Opening an account means the platform handles the information it needs to deliver the service and fulfil its legal obligations. That usually covers:

  • Identity and contact data: your name, date of birth, address, e-mail address and phone number.
  • Account data: username, password (kept in protected form), currency, language and settings, including any limits you have chosen.
  • Verification data: copies of your ID and proof of address, plus information on the source of funds where this is required.
  • Payment data: your transaction history, payment method details processed through payment providers, and crypto wallet addresses used for withdrawals.
  • Gaming and betting data: the games you played and bets you placed, wins and losses, bonuses, coins, Challenges and your VIP level.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser details and login history, used to keep accounts secure and prevent fraud.
  • Communication data: chat transcripts and any messages you send to our support team.

For what purposes is your data used?

  • Opening and running your account, and providing games, betting and rewards.
  • Confirming your age and identity, and keeping minors out.
  • Handling deposits and withdrawals.
  • Detecting and stopping fraud, money laundering and promotion abuse.
  • Applying responsible gambling tools and recognising signs of harmful play.
  • Answering questions and dealing with complaints.
  • Sending promotional messages only if you have opted in, and stopping them once you opt out or exclude yourself.
  • Meeting our legal and regulatory duties.

Every one of these purposes has a legal basis behind it: carrying out our contract with you, meeting legal obligations, our legitimate interest in running a safe service, or, for marketing, your consent.

Who might receive your data?

We share personal data only when it is necessary, for instance with:

  • Banks and payment providers that process your transactions.
  • Services that verify identity and prevent fraud.
  • Game studios and sports data suppliers, restricted to what they need to run games and settle bets.
  • Providers of hosting, customer support and communication tools acting on our instructions.
  • Public authorities, when the law demands it.

Service providers may use the data solely for the job they carry out for us. When personal data is transferred across borders, including outside the United Arab Emirates or the European Economic Area, suitable safeguards are put in place.

For how long is data stored?

We keep account and transaction data while your account remains open and then for as long as anti-money-laundering rules and other laws require, which is frequently several years. Self-exclusion records can be held for longer so that the exclusion can still be enforced. Technical logs from this website are kept briefly, and marketing preferences stay on file until you change them.

What keeps your data secure?

Every connection to the site is encrypted. Only the staff and services that genuinely need personal data can access it. Passwords are stored in protected form, and card details are handled by payment providers instead of being held in plain form. Since no system can be completely secure, please play your part by choosing a strong, unique password and keeping it to yourself.

What rights do you have over your data?

The UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) gives you rights over your personal data, and if you are visiting from the European Union, the GDPR does too. Depending on the law that applies to you, these rights include:

  • Seeing the personal data we hold about you and getting a copy of it.
  • Having data that is wrong put right.
  • Requesting erasure, unless the law obliges us to keep the data.
  • Limiting or objecting to particular uses, and objecting to direct marketing at any time.
  • Receiving your data in a portable format.
  • Withdrawing consent wherever processing relies on it.
  • Lodging a complaint with the data protection authority that is competent for you under the law that applies, for example the supervisory authority in your EU country of residence.

To exercise any of these rights, contact our support team through live chat as described on our contact page. To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on your request.

How do we treat children's data?

Cazeus is strictly for adults, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Should we discover that a minor has registered, we close the account and deal with the data as the law requires.

Could this policy change?

We revise this policy whenever our services or the relevant laws change. You will always find the most recent version here, and significant changes to the full Privacy Notice are announced inside the player account. Do check back now and then.

Where can you read more?

For the main playing rules, see our terms and conditions page, and for limits and exclusion tools, which also involve personal data, visit our responsible gambling page. Please also remember that gambling laws in the UAE are strict: check the law where you live and the Excluded Jurisdictions in our terms before sharing any personal data with us to open an account, and only play where the law allows it.
